About Dowco Educational Services

This Connection Design course is managed and administered by Dowco Educational Services Ltd.

Dowco Educational Services Ltd. is part of the Dowco Group of Companies and was established in 2008 by Dowco Consultants Ltd. to address a lack of training opportunities for professionals involved in the steel detailing industry.

Together with input from the AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) and their Committee on Steel Detailing, Dowco successfully launched the course, "Detailing for Steel Construction" in 2008. Since then Dowco Educational Services Ltd. has assisted Dowco Technology Services Ltd. in the creation and implementation of a hands-on introductory course to Tekla Structures. This Connection Design course is the 3rd course developed by Dowco Educational Services Ltd. All these courses are accessible through the Dowco Online Learning Network.
